Khan, passionate about starting his business, had identified ideal premises. Once vacant, he approached the landlord who agreed to rent him the space. Khan needed to take this step to grow his business. His landlord worked closely with him and encouraged Khan, giving him grace at times, because he could see Khan’s potential and commitment. On Fridays, the landlord would pass by and purchase Khan’s chicken tikka, and when he hosted functions, he would order Khan’s delicious curries and rice for his guests. He advertised Khan’s business to his colleagues, business associates, family, and friends. Khan became “ Tikka”, and so the legend lives on. Tikka says his landlord is his king. Established business, making a difference.
