Umhlanga to Umdloti Morning Hike

Join us for a breathtaking early-morning adventure along some of KZN’s most beautiful coastline!

We’ll explore Umhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve and Sibaya Coastal Forest Reserve, enjoy pristine beaches, and walk the intertidal zone at low tide for a truly unique coastal hiking experience.
We’ll end the hike with a well-deserved coffee stop at Forest Cafe 

 Time: 7:15am for 7.30am
 Start: Lagoon Drive (corner of Newlands Drive-parking along the road)
 Distance: ±9km round trip
 Duration: 3–4 hours (excluding stops)
 Cost: R179pp – Bookings strictly via Quicket

What to bring:
• Snacks & water/cold drinks
• Backpack
• Small towel (river crossing possible if water levels are high)
• Cash/card for coffee afterwards

Footwear: comfortable walking shoes, sandals, aqua shoes – barefoot beach walking welcome

Dogs: Allowed on the beach only (not permitted in the nature reserves)
